| Students
should have completed their sophomore or junior year by
the start of the program with a cumulative grade point average
of 3.0 or better. Minimum course requirements are the completion
of a full year of college biology, general chemistry, and
organic chemistry with laboratories. One semester of calculus
and additional advanced work in biology are preferred, but
not required. Students who graduate before December, 2007,
are not eligible. Students may not enroll in classes or
hold outside employment during the term of the internship.
Minorities underrepresented in the sciences, first generation
college students and students with disabilities are particularly
encouraged to apply. |
