Enrolling in undergraduate laboratory courses in the Department of Biological Sciences provide students hands-on experience using a variety of contemporary techniques. Whether conducting human genetic fingerprinting using PCR or recording currents from cloned ion channels expressed in Xenopus oocytes, you will be better prepared to acquire a job in laboratory forensics, or pharmaceutical research as well as many other biology related vocations.
